To register as a player with The Bay Rugby Club, all participants must complete their registration via the Rugby Xplorer app.

Junior registration steps:

  1. Download the Rugby Xplorer app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  2. Create an account or sign in if you already have one.

  3. Search for The Bay Rugby Club (Juniors) and select the appropriate team or age group for the 2026 season.

  4. Complete your personal and medical details, and review the player consent information.

  5. Submit your registration and payment through the app.

Once complete, you will receive confirmation and further communication from the club regarding training and fixtures.

For the 2026 season, all games for The Bay Rugby Club will be held on the Central Coast, NSW.

Junior competition schedule:

  • U6–U10: Saturday games

  • U11–U15: Sunday games

Away venues on the Central Coast include:

  • The Lakes Pirates– Buff Point Oval, Moola Road, Buff Point

  • Warnervale Wildcats– Woongarrah Sports Facility, Hakone Road, Warnervale

  • Razorbacks – Ourimbah Rugby Park, Chittaway Road, Ourimbah (uni field)

  • Terrigal Trojans– The Haven, Terrigal Drive, Terrigal

  • Avoca Sharks– Heazlett Park, Avoca Drive, Avoca

  • Gosford/Kariong – Gosford Showground, Showground Road, Gosford

  • Woy Woy – Ettalong Oval, Fassifern Street, Ettalong

  • Central Coast Grammar School – Carlton Road, Erina Heights (school field)

Match times and locations are confirmed each week via club communications and the Rugby Xplorer app.

Training schedule:

  • U8's: Tuesday 4:00–5:00 pm

  • U15's: Tuesday & Thursday 5:20–6:15 pm

Wet weather arrangements: In the event of wet or inclement weather, training cancellations or modifications will be determined by your coach. Please ensure you check your team’s Facebook Messenger group for the most up-to-date information. If the oval is closed, training may still proceed at an alternative location.

To participate safely and comfortably, registered players should bring:

Mandatory equipment:

  • Football boots with appropriate studs

  • Mouthguard (recommended for all players)

Optional protective gear:

  • Headgear

  • Shoulder pads

Supplied by the club:

  • Team shorts and socks for registered players

Additional apparel and merchandise:

  • Club apparel may be made available during the season through sponsors

  • Special club merchandise may be offered via pre-order at various times throughout the year

The Bay Rugby Club thrives through community involvement and volunteer support. There are many ways you can contribute:

  • Join the club committee and apply your skills to key areas of club management

  • Volunteer at home games to assist with the canteen and BBQ operations

  • Become a game day volunteer via Rugby Xplorer (e.g., team manager, first aid attendant, ground marshal or assistant referee)

  • Support fundraising initiatives and club events

  • Assist with securing sponsorships to support the club’s financial sustainability

  • Follow us on social media, like and share our posts to help reach more players, families, and supporters across the Central Coast
